Keep your fingers crossed for me, but I think my head is finally starting to settle down again. No migraine for past two days and almost through today with no mig. WHOOO-HOOO!!!

Two reasons for the improvement: taking Frova daily as a preventive, and using full bed rest to break a cycle.

I had a three day migraine Thurs/Fri/Sat, so to prevent it going to four days, I stayed in bed all day Sun with the lights off. It worked! It's now worked like 19 out of 21 times!!!

And this week, DH is out of town and I cancelled all my regular activities. So I can stay inside, away from triggers, taking VERY good care of myself all week. I'm hoping, even though it's very unlikely, that I can extend the 3 day streak to 4, 5, 6 days, which would be the longest I've made it in months.

But even if I don't, at least I've almost made it 3 days this time, which is much better than I've been doing the past couple months.

I'm a happy camper at the moment!! Thumbs Up

(I'm 54, have had severe migraines for over 4 years due to menopause, plus I have fibromyalgia. I take Imitrex plus Anaprox as an abortive and am working with my migraine specialist to find a preventive. I keep a detailed migraine diary and have made significant lifestyle changes to reduce my risk of migraines.)

Jenny it sure does. I feel steadily better each day between migraines just as I feel steadily worse each day a migraine continues. So a few pain free days do make ALL the difference. I start feeling like a HOOman again!

So I did make it three days but not four. But this time the beast only lasted one day!!!!!!! So four out of five days migraine free?!?! Whoo-hoo!!! Still a happy camper! Thumbs Up
