If you notice, my turtle has been on the move for a full week now. He's had some challenges, too. I'm pretty sure the hormones are on the rampage, and that's why I thought I was prodromal on Saturday morning. And I think the weather for tonight and tomorrow may put the turtle's slow, steady movement to the test as well. But for now, I'm glad to celebrate what this last week has brought.

I'd been noticing that, Nutcracker, but didn't want to say anything, lest my words jinx you. But now that you've mentioned it, congrats on that slow and steady progress by that turtle!

Okay. I've got a plan to keep that turtle from backtracking.

What we do is we have a little chat with said turtle. We point out that SOME dragons particularly like the crunch and munch o' turtles on the half shell. We don't have to tell him that droolie loves turtles and wouldn't dream of snacking on one. We then point out that droolie dragon is standing guard down at the zero end of the ticker. And there you go! Turtle will simply have to keep trekkin' to the right if he doesn't want to take his chances with a dragon that might be a bit peckish. Big Grin
