Hey everyone i haven't been here for a while but I have good news. I was in the hospital for 1 1/2 weeks and was able to drop over 80 mG of morphine(long release) with no side affects or withdrawl affects. Also since I was in I haven't had a migraine that i couldn't handle at home for 3 1/2 weeks until now. Isn't that great Thumbs Up And the reason i'm getting it now is the weather is changing and it's my menstral cycle. Also i have dropped all meds except for the heart ones and the morphine(long release and (fast release-only when needed) and Maxeran&benidryl. I am soo happy that i had to tell you all. Smiler

Well another good update for you all. I hope it lets you know that you can fight this with ups and downs. Anyway my doctor has taken me off of the 15mg of fast release morphine and put me on a med called furinal(not sure about spelling; also know as tecnal 30) to take which for me works better and the best news about that is, while yes it is a narcotic it is a lower level than the morphine. I will admit that I have had migraines that i need to go and get treated about every 2-3 weeks but that is a lot beter than every 2-3 days.

I love more good news!

I think the medication you're talking about is Fiorinal. I was prescribed that for the longest time before we switched to another rescue medication.

It was great hearing from you again! Thanks for keeping us posted!

Good Luck
