It feel like a really big step.
I know it's awesome.

Right now, though, I'm totally postdromey and zonked. Had to get up early and drive 60 miles each way to the appt.

When i got into my car to head home, i seriously debated checking into a days inn- that was advertising a $39.99/night rate and sleeping the rest of the day.

But, sheer adrenaline got me home. No shots this time... just meds. (although I had THOUGHT that we were gonna do blocks- apparently the success of the TENS unit and my neck right now are such that she felt like there was no point in doing them now, and to save the therapy for if/when I wasn't doing well... Only so much you can do in a time period, apparently?) Will ask the HA specialist about that. Need to make another appt.

But- I guess that's ALSO good news- that she thought that I was doing so well that we should hold off!

Anyhow. I'm happy. Just can't show it right now- emotionally or any other way. Feel too dead to the world and postdromey.

Jamie,

I hope you are feeling beter this afternoon and are able to celebrate your good news. I very happy for you that you have found a way to improve your situation enough that you are no longer labeled "chronic". That is a huge step to getting things under control.

Congrats

Thanks! I'm celebrating from behind sunglasses and a throbbing migraine. I got a smoothie for lunch- said "NO bananas". I know she heard me- 'cause she dumped one batch out- saying "oh, right, no bananas.

I don't think she remembered why she dumped the first one out as she made the 2nd one. I was reading the newspapers near the coffee/smoothie area and didn't even think to watch... Roll Eyes There are definitely banana parts in my smoothie. How do I know? There's nothing else in the ingredients that I trigger off of.

Grrrr.

I will celebrate later with DH, though. He'll be happy to hear the news, I'm sure! It means that we're taking a step forward... without 2 back...
(Although this migraine could be considered a baby step askew, I suppose)
