Well, like Laura, I don't know why, but my pain level has been low to none for the past week, and I haven't even had the weird noises and pulsing in my head all that often. Big Grin I started a new beta blocker about a month ago, so I'm thinking maybe it's helping. But who knows?? If I go 2 straight weeks like this, it will be a record.

Robin,
Congrats!! I bet it's been a majorly nice change of pace to have all this painfree time!

I can't wait to hear back next week when you've broken your record- and are still on path to set an even LONGER record for yourself! Good Luck

Hey, that's good news! You should have one of those little ladybird counter thingies like Teri's!

What's the new betablocker BTW?

The new beta blocker is nadolol. I'm taking a low dose, and I've been on it for over a month, but I think it's kicking in.

Today is the 10th day of my low pain cycle Big Grin The only time I have real pain is when I'm in front of the computer for very long, but at least when I get up, it goes away pretty quickly. I even had a little bit of sake with my sushi dinner the other night with no repercussions. First alcohol I've had in over 6 months. It tasted sooooo good.

I'm afraid to have a ticker, though - last time I set one up, I promptly started a new pain cycle the very next day Eeker

I hear ya on the ticker, Robin! I was going to set one up today- since I had gone 5 days- and thought I was going to actually have frova left over before the next time the insurance would pay for it-- (end of this week) But... then today came.

No extra frova anymore. I took all 3 tablets, without the migraine breaking Mad So, I'm hoping that I can sleep it off. If not, I have to cancel my PT appt tomorrow, as he won't work on my neck if I have a migraine- he says that I won't be able to get off the table- and the pain will be too great. So... that would just make things worse.

Throb, throb.

As for the computer- have you tried a glare filter? I HIGHLY recommend it... cut down on uncomfyness associated with sitting at the computer-- and the repercussions that my head would then suffer...

Maybe we can both eventually get one of those ticker things and not be afraid of having to reset it...
