It is day three of no pain and I am ecstatic! The migraine I got a few days ago wasn’t as bad as they have been in the past. It wasn’t quite as painful and it only lasted about 30 hours or so. I was only in bed for one day!!

I think a lot of it has to do with my new meds. I take it three times a day and then an increased dosage at bedtime and it has allowed me to get longer blocks of uninterrupted sleep. Before I started the medicine I woke up two or three times a night and would stay up for a long while before falling back to sleep, but not anymore. Now, if I wake up, I can fall right back to sleep. Woo hoo!

I was able to enjoy the entire weekend with the family. Yesterday we went food shopping, came home and played board games all night. I even cooked a rice stuffed pork roast and made stuffed mushrooms.

Today, DH and I woke up early and cooked a HUGE breakfast together and we are going to have another family day. We’re off to the movies and then the mall.

I just wanted to share my happiness with my forum family. Have a great day everyone Thumbs Up

That's great. Just keep counting--I know you can count higher than three! And in all that cooking, I don't think you baked a cake, so here is one for you:
Birthday Cake

Congratulations!

Thank you so much everybody! Heart I love being able to celebrate with people who understand and appreciate the pain free days.

Nut-Well, I know I can count higher than three (most of the time LOL) but the puppy needs to understand that he needs to move more than three Wink You're right, I forgot the cake..yummy!!

Droolie-I saw Rambo and thought it was great. As long as you can handle some, okay, alot of graphic war violence. The story line was pretty much along the same lines as the other Rambo movies.

Thanks Tawsha and Kelly!! It was fun while it lasted. Although I shouldn't complain; the migraine I had yesterday only lasted 24 hours. So, now I try for four days instead of three.

Wink

Laura,
Let's hope the medications are starting to do their job and their usual slow fashion, but that you will start seeing more and more positive results!!!
