Migraine

Mary has taken a job in Argyle, Texas, with Fossil Gate Farms. She will be one of two broodmare/foal managers. She is to0 start work as soon as she gets there. She's planning/hoping to head out Monday.

Kat is VERY happy with her new job in Boston. She's loving working in her field, & she & Dave love their new apartment.

Now, if we can just get to the bottom of what's making Sallie sick...!

Construction of the new boat ramp (in my front yard) is just about finished. They've redone the dirt road, taking out the potholes my daddy so carefully cultivated over the years. This means a lot more traffic, and a lot more curious people using my driveways to turn around. I need to call the county sheriff's office and ask them to step up patrols!

Guess I'll have to put up a fence, too. I'm wondering about a 6-footer, with concertina wire at the top? Or, since Charleston is known for its wrought iron fencing, perhaps a wrought iron fence with sharpened spikes?

Rebecca you must be so happy for Mary. I'm sure it's a bit hard on you to have her so far away, but it sounds like a wonderful opportunity for her.
