I've been meaning to post here for a while, but waiting to make sure I wouldn't jinx anything. After about a year of headaches 4-5 times a week, I've moved down to 1 or 2 a week. I actually went 9 days, including a cross-country round trip flight, with no headache. This feels, honestly, miraculous.
The funny thing is that I think my current preventive only kicked in because, after 3 months on it and disappointing results, I just increased the dose and stayed on it. I mainly did this because I didn't have the energy to change just then. After another month things have really improved. Patience did pay off, even though I didn't think I was being patient. Everyone have a great weekend. |
