I laughed when I read Nancy's "meme" (I'm not sure what that means) when she wrote that the worst part about having migraines is that it hurts to laugh out loud! I love to laugh and had lost my laughter over the last year.

Today at work (note the words {"at work"), I laughed about something and was actually stunned that I do so and that it didn't increase my pain!

I have now gone two days with no higher than a level 3 migraine!!! Dancing Feet!!!

I have actually gone to a party and to work! I am incredibly happy and blessed!! This is the first time in over a year that has happened!!!

There IS hope! I'm going to remember that I wrote this and come back and look at it to remind me of this!!!

Who knows you may hear a sound reverberating through out your city some day soon - it will be the rumble of my laughter the first time I have a migraine free day!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you for being there for me!!!

And for directing me to the my headache specialist!!!

Good for you. I am sooo happy to hear you are having some success now.

Thanks for reading my meme. I wasn't sure what a "mem" was either til I wrote one. Here is what I found out - a meme is "a cultural unit (an idea or value or pattern of behavior) that is passed from one person to another by non-genetic means (as by imitation)" - from Princeton University WordNet.

Cyn!

Thanks for putting a big happy smile on my face! I'm so happy that you were able to have that laughter, and less pain, and feel better!

Hugs!

Cyn,
I may not be ROF, but I am LOL! (Haven't vacuumed kitchen floor yet.)

Thanks for the vivid word picture of you laughing and dancing. You've given me more sunshine in an already beautiful day. Now, I'll be dancing, too!

Way to go, Girlfriend!

SWEET! Smiler

I've triggered off of particularly hard laughing a few times. But I love a good laugh, and I figure a really good laugh is worth it.
