So. I've had this migraine for 2 days now and am slightly phonophobic (weird for me)

Construction people are working on the apt. downstairs. THe walls are thin enough for me to to hear it all. After 15-20 minutes of banging, I had enough. I decided it was time for some quiet.

I learned a little tap dance when I was younger (can you see where this is going?) Pulled out my clodhopper boots and started to make up a routine.

It's much more quiet now. I can hear them a little bit, but it's not like they were hammering on my head. I mean, when I'm phonophobic, I can only imagine what it would sound like to more sensitive sound people.

I'm proud of my self. Now I can listen to the people's court in peace!

You crack me up. I think you should give stand-up a try!! You have such a way with words and such a quick wit! I needed a good laugh.
And good for you - for standing up for yourself!

Jamie, the next time I'm phonophobic with a migraine (happens about half the time), I'm inviting you over to take care of any obnoxious neighbors. Could have used you at the last apartment I lived in!

Thanks for the laugh! Thumbs Up
