This folder is to alert you to new articles and other content on MyMigraineConnection.

It's natural that there will be some discussion on our new content. That's great! In some cases though, if a conversation is going to continue and morph into another topic, it may be best to start a new thread in another folder so that more people will see it and participate.

Since this folder is for introducing new content on our site, only moderators may START threads in this folder. Once a thread is started, all members are welcome to post to it.

Oh my gosh! I am so sorry, Teri! Thanks for setting me straight-I didn't know this folder was for moderators only. By the way, have you heard of that new med from Merck that works on Calcitonin (in the brain), which isn't named yet, and is due to be released in 2009, and works exclusively for migraines?

Don't answer me here, if you mention it anywhere I'll see it. I was just curious to know if you guru's had heard of this yet.

No need to be sorry. It's ok. It's not so much that the folder is for mods only, but it's specifically to let you all know when new articles and other content go up on MyMigraineConnection.

Yes, when I was at the American Headache Society conference in June, I interviewed Merck's lead researcher on that drug and wrote an article. Take a look at • New Migraine Abortive Shows Promise without Vasoconstriction.

When you get a chance, take a look around the site. I think many of our members have no idea that there is a comprehensive web site that goes with this forum. There are new articles going up constantly. So often, when people post links to articles on other sites, we have articles right here on the same topics.
