Migraine

Some of you may remember that I've written before about the need for increased NIH funding of research into Migraine disease and other headache disorders. From this need, an event and an organization have been formed.

Headache on the Hill first occurred in September of 2007 when a group of doctors, researchers, and advocates visited Capitol Hill to talk with our senators and members of the house about our needs.

The Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy (AHDA) was formed to focus on advocacy efforts to help us, and there are times when the AHDA asks us, our friends, our family, and others who support us to write to their Senators and members of the House. When this comes up, the AHDA provides a prewritten letter that we can add personal details to, then automatically send to our members of Congress...
