Hi,
Has anyone ever actually tried niacin for migraines/headaches? I've read some differing opinions on it and am curious.
Thanks.

Nope. I think the only other B vitamin I've ever heard of in relation to migraine prevention than B2 is B6. I've only seen mention of the B6 once, in a book I read a few years ago. When B2 fizzled some on me, I tried B6, and it seems to help, but that's all anecdotal, of course, and everybuddy's mileage varies.

Haven't tried niacin per se, but my neuro was pleased to see I added a B complex pill to my daily regimen when I saw him last month. He said it would help control the migraines.

Have been taking the B complex more for CFS, which it has helped control. Haven't noticed any effect on migraines. But, like Droolie said, "...that's all anecdotal, of course, and everybuddy's mileage varies."

Good luck!
