I am not trying to find an excuse not to go to my Jazzercise class because I really do like it, and am paying $40 a month for it, but I have found that I have gotten a migraine later in the day the last 4 out of 5 times.

I know there was a link to excercise and migraines, or a blog, or a carnival or something recently. Can anybody link?

Aerobic classes a common trigger for anyone?

thanks,
lisa

Here's a link to an Ask the Clinician question that might be helpful...

Here's a link to the blog carnival on exercise and migraines, as well as a recent thread on the subject.

I just wanted to add that I took Advil before both of my classes this week and did not get a migraine either day. This was suggested in the Ask the Clinician link. I did get one the day between the classes but at least I got to two classes this week!

thanks again, lisa

Cool beans! We'll hope you found your "magic bullet" with the Advil, and that if gets better and better.

You're quite welcome! I actually "absconded" with the phrase from a former forum host several years ago, when I first heard it. I thought it was pretty fun. Still do. Smiler
