I just started a 4 week Tai Chi'uan class. It was much harder than I though it would be. Still, I loved it. I was curious if anyone else has done it? If so, did anyone see it help with their migraines in any way?

I haven't tried it but would love to hear more about it from you. What does it entail?

I do tai chi at home with DVDs. There's a great tai chi school about 20 minutes from my apartment (more like 45 minutes in traffic). I've been wanting to go to their classes since I first discovered them over a year ago, because they specialize in chronic pain/illness patients. Sounds great!!

Unfortunately there's just no way for me go to until I feel better. I can't do the drive there.

So, instead, I bought a couple of DVDs. I've only done it a few times, but I bought some "gentle" tai chi DVDs and they are great. They both have options for a sitting down routine, which I love for days I'm dizzy or in a lot of pain.

You're right, for how "simple" the movements may seem, it's a lot more exercise than you would realize.

I love it though. I'm a big believer in relaxation and I like tai chi for the relaxation and exercise combination.

I went to my 2nd Tai Chi class yesterday. It was a bit easier this time. I started to get a small headache in the middle of it. Once it ended, it dawned on me that my head didn't hurt anymore. I'm not sure when it stopped because I was so busy thinking about what I was trying to do. I ordered the DVD that my instructor did so I can do it at home too.

I had my 3rd class. The last one is next week. After that, I will have to find another class or do it on my own. We'll have to see what happens.

This time was much easier for me. I was really achy when I went but was able to do it without too much trouble.

I have found this to be very relaxing. I will keep you posted.

I'm so glad the classes are going well. Another class should be easy to find.
