Well, the short answer is eat less and exercise more.
I have to recommend Weight Watchers. I went from 210 to 160, and have kept it off for the better part of 5 years. I have gained 15 back since I started taking migraine preventives, but I'm back on program now so it should come off. I recommend it to people because it is not a diet. It just changes the way you eat forever. You learn to eat healthy. A couple quick things you can do, if you drink soda, switch to water. Change over your breads/cereals/pasta from refined grains (ie white bread) to whole grains. Good luck! |

Teri wrote a great article on how Migrainuers can sneak in some exercise throughout the day. I always park my car at the end of the parking lot to make sure I have to walk a good bit to get to the store. Every little bit helps, right?:
