If this isn't what you were thinking of, just mentally hit 'delete'! Yes

I'm retired on disability from Meniere's Syndrome and Migraine Disease. I've had Migraine since I was 5 years old.

I'm always on the lookout for new research into better ways to make our bodies 'tick'. I've discovered that organic food (my mother has been organically gardening since the 1970s) and good, safe, pure water and air haven't been enough to keep my health from declining.

Exercise triggers attacks. It has always made me more exhausted, even when I was in show business and taking a ballet barre class every day but Sundays. Exercise is simply something I can't do no matter how sold I am on its benefits.

I'm seeing a chiropractor who is also doing acupuncture now and I've learned about my body's energy system. It seems I don't produce the amount of electricity and other energy that I need to be healthy. There are ways to measure electrical and other body energies and I come up short on those tests. My meridians run backwards unless I diligently work to keep them running the correct direction, for example.

Because of spinal problems, my organs are probably not getting the nerve impulses required to keep them operating correctly. Organs need nerve and energy flow as well as hormones, blood circulation, an ductless fluids such as lymph. My body simply doesn't work correctly.

But, I'm slowly improving using energy exercises, chiropractics, and acupuncture as well as carefully following my prescription preventative plan and staying away from triggers. I use rocks and minerals in their natural state to help manage pain and I'm having a lot of success with that.

Not everyone's Migraine situations are caused by energy problems, but mine have a strong energy component. Untwisting my spine, working on my slipped C-6 vertebra and using acupuncture to overcome what would normally require surgery (and may still--that's not off the table yet) is helping. Wearing the orthotic inserts to help my flat feet is making me more stable. Due to Meniere's my balance is shot--there is a computer that will measure a person's balance and it said I had no vestibular function. I fell on 10/18 for the fourth time this year and broke off a bone spur in my neck on my C-5 vertebra.

I'm exploring home-made foods and writing a lot of recipes for things that one might usually purchase such as breakfast sausage. I can tell you that home cooking requires planning and effort and I'm not up to speed on either task. My Assistant Offspring and I are doing ok, though.

All of these things are changing how I live my life. I guess I would consider that they've changed my lifestyle.

My full-time job now is getting well, since I can do none other. That in itself was a change. I've been earning significant money since I was eleven years old. When I was 46, my body simply gave out.

Is this even remotely close to your question? Fingers Crossed

basilar-type migraine, MAV, BPPV, migraine with and without aura, cluster headaches, but no tension headaches! W00t! Smiler
