Wow, that is the $64,000 question. I think it's an opinion but for what it's worth . . . here's mine.
I think a healthy lifestyle includes food, exercise, behavior. Food would be healthy food . . . low fat, lots of fruits and vegetables, whole grains. Exercise would be . . . one third aerobic, one third weight/strength training, one third stretching Behavior would be . . . optimistic outlook, ability to control and minimize stress, good sleep habits, a healthy social support group of friends and family, positive self esteem That's my two cents. |

Good Morning,
Nancy and Zen have given you some great advice. I'd like to add one more thing. I personally think moderation in excesses can help greatly in achieving a healthly life style. Extremes in food, drink (yes, even water) etc can be harmful to some. It's important to listen to our bodies and do those things that make it feel it's best in order for it to function at it's optimal level. That is different for everyone. Take care, Cindy |
