My specialist has recommended that I get into a yoga or Pilates class. I've studied yoga before but can't find the teachers I studied with. I think the best one has left town, durn it! But there are other options.
But I know nothing about Pilates. I think there are different methods? I've heard of Windsor Pilates and some other type. Does anyone know the difference? I don't want to get into a class that wants you to stand on your head or anything. I'll ask to take a sampler class to see if I like it, and I may audition several studios if I don't immediately like one. But I'd like to know what to ask. Thanks! Gret |

Hey Gret - I can't tell you about the different types of Pilates, but in general it's about stretching, lengthening and strengthening. I really liked it when I did it for awhile. I don't think there'd be any standing on the head involved.
