Hi, I am new here and wanted to introduce myself. I have suffered from migraines for several years now. I usually get one every couple months, occasionally more often. They always last 2 days. I am trying to learn more about what my possible triggers are and since I don't get the aura, I am trying to take note of how I feel in the days before so that maybe I can start taking my medication earlier. I think this forum is a great idea!

Welcome to the forum family Kristen!

It sounds like you're keeping a migraine diary already but here is a downloadable diary you may find helpful.

Also, Teri Robert, our Lead Expert just wrote an article called Where to Start that has a ton of helpful information and links too.

I look forward to seeing you around the forum Flower

Welcome Kristen!

Looks like Laura already gave you some info to start off with, so I'll just say hello for now.

Oh and add that yes, a migraine diary is a great way to figure out your triggers. If you want to learn more about migraine diease, may I suggest a book? Living Well with Migraine Disease and Headaches by Teri Robert you can get it from Amazon - it has become my bible! So much great info in there - you will constantly find yourself going back to it!

Let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.....

welcome again!
