I'm a new member to the boards here and am just saying hi/testing the posting gizmo.
I am a first-year medical student and have had migraines for about 10 years. I'm looking forward to sharing info and learning from all of you....

Welcome!

I'll be interested in whether they teach you anything about migraine disease and headaches.

Are yours controlled? What kind of medication are you on, if any? Do triptans help? I'm being nosy. Ignore my questions if you want.

Mine started in law school, in 1980. I made it through, plus I practiced for 10 years. Things got out of control 16 years ago, and I had to give it up. Never got things under good enough control for long enough to go back to work.

Looking forward to seeing you around!

Welcome, Jay. We can certainly use another doctor who really empathizes with the migraine patient! We're glad you found us.
