Hi Melissa!

I sure am glad you found your way here! Smiler

Your sharepost talked about trigger point injections. Many of us have had success with these! You may want to look at one of our old discussions about this issue HERE and some other info on our site about them HERE.

Anyway, I just wanted to say "Hi" to you here (even though we've kind of met already!).

I sure hope you find this place as helpful as I have!

Hi Melissa and welcome!

I see that you are trying to do a ticker, I believe?

You need to go into your profile to do that, not as a link in a post. If you go back to tickerfactory and get the code for your ticker - you want the one for bulliten boards, I think it's the first code.

Copy that code.

Then come back here and go into your profile by hitting that little Go button with the star at the top of the postings - go to profile - then edit profile. You put the code in under signature.

And that is it!! Good luck with it!

As far as the forum, if you need any help with anything, please feel free to ask.

Welcome again!!!

Hi Melissa and welcome to the forum family Flower

You've come to the right place for information and for support. When I found this site I was amazed at how much information is here and how helpful and understanding everyone is, it's great!

This site help me find a migraine specialist and he has helped me reduce the intensity and length of my migraines. We also use a migraine diary to track my triggers, the effectiveness of my medications and the patterns of my migraines. I entered mine into Excel and print it out for every doctor's appointment.

I look forward to seeing you around the forum! If you have any questions, just ask Smiler

kdub,

Hello and welcome!

This is fine, but when you want to start a new thread, click into the right folder, then look at the bar across the top of the posts. They each have drop-down menus. On the "New" tab, click for the menu, then click "Discussion.

Oh, sweetie. You've been given some bad info. Pregnancy helps some Migraineurs; makes things worse for others.

Is there a reason why your pdoc is treating your Migraines? Yes, the congitive side effects of Topamax could be causing problems for you. They may subside, they may not. Only time will tell.

Welcome again!

I'm 37, have suffered from migraines for at least 10 years and they are getting worse. A while back my ob/gyn said to get pregant, that would help. okay....so 2 kids later....my hormones are now on a roller coaster and migraines are ice pickers. I teacher kindergarten too....a nice quiet environment :-)
Anyway...after a really rough last 4 months, my pc doc just prescribed topamax. I think it's made me stupid in one week. Is that possilbe?
Looking forward to learning from everyone. So nice to know that I'm not alone.
