I'm a relative newbie here-been around about a month. I began having regular migraines about 2 months ago-about the same time I started having to work 55+ hr/weeks due to short staffing. I work for my doc and we're working to try and find a solution. Right now, he's agreed to let me continue on abortives only until I get new staff trained and I can get a break/some rest. If I'm still having them as often and as severe as I am right now, we're going to try preventatives again. I tried Cymbalta with HORRIBLE results. I absolutely couldn't tolerate the stuff. Medications work strange ways on me, needless to say, I have a ton of drug allergies. I'm looking forward to spending time in the forum and learning all I can about migraines.
