Hello everybody. I have been on mymigraineconnection for a few months but only just now figured out the whole forum thing. My interests are non-drug therapies, triggers and investigational therapies.

I have been getting migraines for the last 20 years. My first was on Christmas Eve when I was 11 and I'm 31 now. I hate them, I think they #### and if I could find a magic pill to stop them I would take it. Devil

My migraines ebbed last year and it was relatively pleasant for several months since I was only getting headaches once or twice a month. I don't know what I was doing differently then that I am not doing now but they are back with a vengance.
Smiler
Thanks for having me,
Tami

Hi Tami and welcome to the forum family. Have you checked out the Complementary/Alternative Therapies folder yet? It's a great place to talk about acupuncture, acupressure, aromatherapy, etc.

I look forward to seeing you around the forum Smiler

Welcome Tami,

A good way to start looking at the why you are getting is keeping a migraine diary HERE. Food, sleep, weather, are only the beginning of triggers. Identifying those triggers can be your first step in controling them.

Again, welcome and see you around the forums.

Hi Tami,

So glad you made it to the forum side!! Welcome Flower I have found that triggers are certainly a challenge sometimes to find out what they are. As Cindy suggested a migraine diary can really help, if you are not using one already. I look forward to your future posts!! Again, Welcome!!
