I’m 32 years old and around 5 years I became impotent literally over night. I never used to last long before ejaculating and so I took Viagra as it made me last longer, not because I was impotent. I always used to wake up with an erection and could easily maintain an erection for sex. After taking Viagra approx 10 times I stopped but I found I could no longer keep an erection naturally and I stopped waking up with an erection, furthermore if I did take Viagra it had no effect anymore. A friend suggested I try the illegal drug Ecstasy which I did, the day the night I had took it things were great, could keep an erection no problem and coiuld last for ages with ejaculating. I took Ecstasy a few times for this sole reason. I suffered major depression due to now being impotent and so my GP presribed me Citalopram. Amazingly Citalopram helped me maintain an erection and delays ejaculation ! In fact I even began waking up with an erection when taking citalopram. Now my question is why does Citalopram and Ecstasy help my erections? Does it do something to the nerves which control erections, i.e parasympathetic / sympathetic or does it simply help relax the smooth muscle ? I dont want to rely on Citalopram and illegal drugs to be able to ensure I can maintain an erection hence my enquiry.
