Hi. I'm an otherwise healthy 47 year old, very active (hard 1 hour workout at the gym 6 days a week), not overweight, super-healthy diet, normal testosterone. I do have some strange auto-immune type symptoms that include dry eye, dry mouth and many allergies (food and environment) that nobody can figure out.
Possible lumbar problems (unstable disc, occasional numbness in legs from old sports injuries) and somewhat higher than ideal cholesterol/220 and lipid profile, but nothing dramatic or dangerous. I guess it's possible that years of that level of cholesterol could be causing some problem. Used to get angina, but now all the tests show a perfect heart. Also, I used an inclined exercise bike for years, but nothing as bad as a normal 10 speed as far as pressing on the penile nerves or whatever.
Actually I've had some ED problem since my 20s - with maintaining an erection and having full sensation even though I could have sex 5 times a day then no problem as long as I stayed in constant motion (I remember even at that age not being able to feel a thing through condoms - numbness and reduced sensation). Starting maybe 7 or 8 years ago, I started to have a lot of difficulty in achieving an erection, much less maintaining. Up until about a year ago, viagra, etc. took care of it. Now 100mg probably accomplishes a 50% E and I really hate the side effects. Vacuum pump hurts and only achieves maybe a 30% E which immediately deflates.
I do not want to do the injections or suppositories. I'll just become a monk or something if that is my last resort. Been to many doctors with no real answers. The local urologist did many tests and had no idea, only that it might have something to do with the lumbar. I've stopped dating and become somewhat of a recluse because of this even though I'd very much like to get married and have kids. This is ruining my life. Help!

I have understood your problem completely. Your problem is not so serious. I will suggest you take the medicines like Kamagra or Tadalis to improve your erection stamina. You can also purchase these medicines from any of your local vendor or from the internet. But, I will suggest that you should consult the doctor once before using them. I am sure the doctor will not have any problems, because even I was having the same problems and my doctor advised me to take Kamagra. I am really enjoying my sex life now.
Hi Steve. Thanks for responding. I believe kamagra is just generic viagra? As I put in the initial post, I have been using all the ED meds and they aren't helping much, after helping for 5 years, and I can't stand the side effects anyway plus they're expensive. I would rather keep trying to find the root cause. I'm not even dating right now and want to wait until I figure this out.
I'd like to locate a real ED clinic but don't know of any nearby. I know about Boston Medical and may give them a call, but they're pretty far. Local urologists and GPs are useless for this, only want to do a standard testosterone test and then just shrug their shoulders and RX viagra. I want to figure out what's wrong. Are there any good lists of good ED clinics?
I am glad I found this thread. We are in the same boat and I totally understand where you are coming from. I first started suffering from erectile dysfunction 2 years ago and the first thing my doctor prescribed for me was Viagra. I tried the samples he gave me for 3 days and it did not do anything for me. He them gave me a prescription for Cialis and this one made me feel sick so we scratched that of the list. I did not bother going back and asking him for Levitra so I looked up and researched the Boston Medical Group. I got an appointment with a Urologist there and met with him last week. These guys specialize in helping men who have severe ED like you and I. They actually connect your penis up to a machine and can verify what your blood flow rate is. Mine was very low and the URO prescribed caverject for me which they sold me there. You have to give your penis a small injection and after 20 minutes you get a 100% hard on!!! It last for about 1 hour and then goes away. I would recommend it because nothing else worked for me not even Viagra. Here are 2 good sites including the Boston medical website, you can find loads of info here, whether it be caverject or Viagra
Sexual dysfunction is not a normal issue. As you told that you are suffering from these problems then you should consult to a doctor as soon as possible. Mostly people use different techniques for getting over from these conditions that are available in the market today but, first need to consult to your doctor before taking any medication. Levitra
