I've found a way to eat any dessert and still be healthy! I use Stevia as my sweetener in recipes instead of sugar or artificial sweeteners because it's all natural. The Stevia plant is an herb that's naturally sweet and native to Paraguay. The Stevia sweetener I've found that I think tastes the best is called SweetLeaf Sweetener and it's great because it has no calories, no carbs and no glycemic index. I use it in all my dessert recipes and it tastes the same as sugar (I just make sure to use a filler like yogurt or mashed bananas to maintain the volume of the ingredients). I definitely recommend that everyone try SweetLeaf!
