I am currently a college student majoring in Dietetics, so it's safe to say that I'm pretty obsessed with healthy eating and healthy living. The problem is my older brother's lifestyle goes against everything I'm trying to help resolve: American obesity.
He's always been a big kid, but at the same time he's always had a horrible diet and bad workout habits. He's constantly working so he doesn't have much time for working out, but my main concern is his eating habits. He eats very few vegetables, or fruits...not many sweets though. But his diet is pretty much limited to meat, potatoes, pizza, fried food...it's exceptionally limited. And just recently we had a family member diagnosed with diabetes, and I fear with his lifestyle, he's next.

Is there anything I can do to get him to change his outlook on nutrition and a healthy well-being? I know he doesn't like talking about his weight or anything, but I'm desparately concerned for him. Any ideas or programs or people I could contact for help or advice?

The kind of change that sticks, is the change you actually want for yourself. It's great your concerned, too mad that's not enough. Good luck opening his eyes.

I enjoy working out. Some fun outdoor sports too. I am no professional sports player tho!
