The book Been There, Done That? DO THIS! by Sam Obitz is written from the point of view of someone who battled anxiety and depression for many years and overcame it using the simple tools he outlines in the meat of the book. It is the authors story of his personal journey and frustrations along the way to finding relief. It is a quick and easy read that I found was easy to relate to and helped give me the confidence to try what he was advocating. It centers on the tea form exercise which is helped me reduce and have some measure of control over the anxieties in my life. It is also one of the few anxiety and depression self-help books I have read that did not overwhelm me by inundating me with too many exercises and things I would have to do to get some relief. You can read the entire book in one sitting and I think it is worth the investment in time if you are committed to helping yourself.
