I have no motivation to do anything. I can hardly get out of bed. I need to take responsibility for myself and my house and four year old. Can someone help.

I had the same problem about 1 year ago. I felt overwelmed at the smallest things like cooking dinner for instance. My advise to you would be to go through your day as if. As if you weren't depressed. As if everything is ok. Force yourself to take walks and get out. Discuss with your docter your problem. I know how hard it is to do these things when your feeling like your stuck in hell but these things really helped with me. My docter put me on an antidepressant and I'm feeling much better than I was so you may want to consider it. Also try to fill your head with possative thoughts and push the negative 0ut. Again, I know this is very difficult, but my docter tells me that part of the problem with depressed people is that they believe their own negative thinking and they feed off of it. Hang in there and good luck

hello eaglewings.
I believe that you are probably suffering from depression that will cause those kind of symptoms. You need to think of how this is affecting your four year old...Is this going to me him/her think that is normal...Maybe you need to think that you are lucky to have the things that you have...and try to show your child that you are happy and encourge her/him to acheive more...
