I have just started taking wellbutrin xl - at 150 mg daily. It has been about 3 weeks now. I feel better emotionally, but I am kind of nauseated all day. Is this going to improve?
hey any medication is going to cause some type of side effect for each person not everyones body chemistry is the same. I couldnt sleep but give it time and make sure you take it with food or milk something at least solid because your body absorbes it better instead of acid in your digestive track,hehe if you take just once a day ex. in the morning than take it with bf. just always eat when you take it and drink a lot of water with it. hope i helped
Often initial side effects subside as you body adjusts to the drug. Wellbutrin is a drug with anorectic properties and nausea is a very common side effect. It would be a good idea to inform your doctor if it will continue to bother you. May be you need a dose adjustment.
I beg to differ about the "anorectic" properties Wellbutrin may contain. For me it was the opposite, I was obsessed with food and my body never felt satiety after meals, my brain was not registering feeling full or satisfied, this was also apparent with sex. Wellbutrin contributed to me losing alot of friends too.
