I have lost 10 pounds I joined Weigh Watchers and work out daily I should be very happy about this but am feeling very unsettled This is the smallest I have been since my children were in High School. I find I am constantly worring about stuff that I really have no control over. I don't have many friends aside from work I would like to meet people so I could get out more but don't know how? I feel as if I am just wasting my life. I will be 60 in September not sure if this has something to do with this. I am taking my meds and am functioning quite well. I just feel so bored Are these just normal feelings or is it just a phase I am going through and I just have to work through it?

Hi Hellen
Congratulations on your weight loss, well I guess it is good news? as most people I know are trying to lose it - well done.
I don't know if it helps, but I have just got over a big birthday, my 50th, and feels better now it is over, and I guess I have accepted it.
Do you have any interests or hobbies that you could share with others?
I hope you feel better.
Mat

Thanks for you reply. My hobbies at the moment are just going to the gym and thrift stores not much that anyone else would be interested in. I have applied to be a volunteer at the library hopefully that will help. My 50th birthday was a breeze and I am actually looking forward to my 60th I am healthier now than when I was in my 40's. If you would be interested in a e-mail friend I can give you my e-mail address?

Thanks again for the support.
