As far as Missouri goes, I know of some great doctors..
For psychiatrists, Dr. Kevin Mays travels to Warrensburg, Missouri and he is GREAT. He's also located in Leawood, Kansas. He travels, like I said.
For psychologists/therapists, Dr. Michael DeMarco is AMAZING. He's located in Warrensburg, Missouri, and he's just beyond amazing. He's SO helpful, and he accepts nearly every kind of insurance and also has a sliding scale. You can type in therapists in Warrensburg, Missouri on Google.com and he will come up.
As far as hospitals go, Two Rivers and Kansas City Research Hospital, both in Kansas City, are both good hospitals with good doctors!
I will also go ahead and warn you to NOT go to Mid-Mo in Columbia, Missouri! That's a bad hospital.. Don't take anyone there!
Dr. Tahir M. Sheikh, M.D. is a good doctor in Riverside, IL (suburb of Chicago)
Also, Adventist Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdaly, IL (also a suburb of Chicago). This hospital also has an excellent day program for those struggling with mental illnesses called O.P.T.I.O.N.S. which stands for Out Patient Treatment Innovatively Offering a Network of Services.
