Hello everyone,
I am a 40 year old male.I have battled depression most of my adult life (at least as long as I can remember).The crazy part is that I really have no reason to be depressed:I have a beautiful and caring wife and three beautiful children whom I adore.It is difficult for my family to understand that I feel lonely inside and feel lost.Does anyone know this feeling and what it really feels like?

I know the feeling of loneliness, and I know the feeling of not belonging. It seems like nobody understands what you go through, no matter how much you explain. I know the feeling of helplessness. I hope that helps.
