Hello
There might be a thread for this, but here's the scoop.
My partner was recently discharged from a therapy program, and I'm looking for some sort of guidance in regards to how to help her cope with life as it comes, in relation to what she learned @ therapy.
Since her discharge she has been irritable and angry, and I don't know how to deal with it. I've tried the usual things, you know, talking through it, etc.
so....any resources, books, forums that anyone could point me toward would be awesome.
thanks.

Hi

from my experience once a person has released the negative emotion (the thing that causes depression) they often have a feeling of "nothing" they are trying to access feelings that are no longer there which creates anxiety, frustration and confusion, creating a goal as to what they now want in there life and in the future gives them something to focus on, looks forward to the future and not what they once were... if you require any info on goal setting let me know! hope that helps and good luck!
