Does anyone know of any groups in Atlanta. My therapist thinks I would benefit and get me out of the house?

Your therapist should know of another therapist who runs a support group, as I'm assuming that he/she doesn't run one. If you're referred to someone who doesn't run the type of group you're looking for, you can ask them to recommend one, and so on until you find one.

Hi Helen, I too have been trying to find a local depression/anxiety support group in the Atlanta area. I currently live in Douglasville and I can't find any listings on the internet. Also, I just made an appointment with a psychiatrist next week but he is down in Stockbridge as I couldn't find any near here that were taking new patients or I just couldn't get through on the phone. Its been very frustrating. I have been emailing someone but its not the same as face to face support. If you would like to get in touch with me my email is mattb.soccer@gmail.com .
