Well, not a newbie to depression, only to this site.
I'm a double-depressive (lucky me, eh?)- dysthymic, and atypical major depressive disorder. Both are a complete drag. When my Prozac pooped out a couple of years ago, I got only the dysthymia back... enough to function, but not enough to function WELL...
I'm on cymbalta now, and doing fairly well. Somedays are better than others obviously, and moreso now that I have some comorbid stuff going on---
(I'm a transplant from the migraine forum) and also have neck disc issues. Sometimes it's overwhelming. So, when the announcement came that there was going to be an expert patient here, I thought that it would be a good chance to just touch base with the other issues that I have to contend with- like it or not.
I'm 27, and I'm living in North Carolina.
