Hello- This is my first time to this site or any like it- I can honestly say that I am here because I cant find any other relief and Im hoping other folks dealing with what Im dealing with can help guide me along. Thanks in advance for any help you can give and for taking the time. I am dealing with chronic pain- I would love to say its only back pain because I have a back injury from a car accident 2 years ago but Im dealing with full body pain, joint pain, extreme fatigue. I have lost my life. I went from super energy to no energy. Working 3 jobs to working 1 parttime. Great shape to overweight and miserable. The worse part for me is I feel crazy going into the Drs to tell them- help, just help. I dont have a diagnosis- I have heard anxiety/depression but Im not depressed. I have a truly wonderful supportive family and if there was aname for what i have it would be frusterated, not depressed. I dont feel out of control of my emotional state- just that Im trapped in a nonfunctioning body. Does anyone else feel like their body has taken over. I cant eat, sleep, play or relax without constant pain. My back injury causes my legs to collapse underneath me as I walk which doesnt help the feeling of trapped. I dont know what Im hoping for at this point. Maybe some options for care that does not involve more pain pills? I have tried heat, cold, stretching, water therepy, pain pills, essential oils. All help to a degree. My worse pain in in my legs and hips. the worse symptom I have is the overwhelming fatigue. Any ideas? Thanks for your time--

hello- i can sympathize with you - the nice place about this website is that most of know where you're coming from. For me personally, it took the doctors a long time to diagnose me as well. i didn't get diagnosed until my children were diagnosed first! Since being diagnosed, i have had better response from doctors, but not all of them unfortunately, you are always going to have some dr.s who just don't get it! i had "fun" returning to the dr.'s that said there was nothing wrong with me - and then i tell them!. Basically, you just need to hang in there - i personally pray quite a bit, it has helped me tremendously. I do believe in doing any kind of exercise you can, even if it does hurt. the way i look at is this, i'm going to be hurting in a few hours so why not accomplish something as well. unless it makes your incredibly worse. exercise is always good for you! What kind of pills are you on? Do you take any antidepressants or sleeping pills? it is a tought situation to be in, but this is the right place to communicate. let me know hoe you are doing and i'll glady keep in touch. please read my profile, you'll understand me a bit more. god bless kelliann
i have primary immune disease and receive a form of chemo every 20 days. forever. my 2 daughters also have the disease and same treatments. unfortunately, i wasn't diagnosed as early as them, so i have numerous medical complications!
