Hi lavagirl,
I'm sorry you haven't been getting a lot of responses. Sometimes things slow down a bit in the summer because people are getting out more, going on vacation, etc. Also, there tends to be a little more activity on the main part of the site with SharePosts, questions, etc. I noticed you signed up there, too, so I hope you'll continue to get more responses there.
One spot here on the forum that has a lot of activity is our support group called “The Daily Grind.” It's in the "Off Topic" section. The people there are really friendly and chat with and encourage one another regularly. They're always happy to have someone new join them. BettyBoopToo moderates that part of the forum. Just click on the current month and join the discussion. Here's a link to it:
http://forums.healthcentral.co...rums/a/frm/f/1361017 I know what you mean about the frustration of not knowing what is causing your pain. It took me seven years to get a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. Doctors tried to tell me it was stress or I was just getting older (but I was only 40 at the time). Many times I wondered if other people my age felt that bad but just did a better job of hiding it. You really start to question your sanity!
I'm glad your surgery took care of the pelvic pain – now if you can just find out what is causing your back pain. What kind of doctors have you been to and what kind of tests have they done?
I also wish you low pain days and pain-free moments!
Karen
