Howdy I kind of stumbled on to this site while serching for simalar info. I am 53 and been living with cronic pain since 1980. I was injured at work and have had 4 major surgies on my back with 8 minor surg after the second on due to a staph infection. I am fused from L1 down now and some days each step is a new expreance in pain. as a rule I don't talk about it to others as I feel i am just gripping and they don't seem to grasp the fact that this is a real problem. I decided to join this site in hopes that I can help others by listening and letting you know we are not alone, also thru this I hope that it will in turn help me, because frankly i am tired of it, I also admit that had i taken better care i might not me in such bad shape. I have a GREAT DOC now and he is one in a million. I have been thru the entire range of pain control from spinal blocks to tens units and all in between. I hope I can help someone, as like i said by doing so i hope it will help me, as i have had all i can take
