does anyone know how to apply for medicare?

Medicare is a welfare or disability offering. You would apply through either the welfare or SSI offices in your area and are available to those who are unemployed or permanently disabled.

The process is not an easy one. I first applied in August, and I'm still waiting for a decision. I'm at the mercy of hospitals and doctor who don't feel it's a priority to send records. They expect you to have a lot of medical records to submit, but if you can see all these doctors and pay for the visits, you most likely would not need disability so I found that ridiculous.

why dont you try hospital assistance? they may just forgive you the debt
