Chronic Pain

Hi every 1,My name is Chuck and I need to find a compassionate pain management doctor in the Baltimore/Annapolis area.I was being treated by a DR kaplan in Baltimore but was told he could no longer treat me because I couilnt afford the $2700.00 worth of test with out workers comp approval.He said I am the doctor and when I tell you to have a test done you do it.I have been self pay with no ins. while waiting for the workers comp case to get reopened.I was taking 7 15 mg oyxycodone and 2 15 mg morphine sul. extended release.He released me from their care with no step down on the meds and I will run out out them very soon.I fear that on top of the severe pain that kept me in bed 1 or 2 days a week with meds will be too much to handle without any,not to mention U'm pretty sure that I will go through withdraw.in the last 2 years I haven't gone more then 12 hours with out a pill and have heard horror stories of withdraw.I'm worried that I will loose my job.I need to find a doctor who will let me self pay until the slow,very slow workers comp gets approve and then bill them.All the doctors I've called said it's one way or the other self pay or workers comp.Any suggestions would be appreciated
