My doctor has moved out of state and on June 19 (2008) I run out of my Duragesic 100 mcg/h patches percocet 10/325 for breakthrough. I need to find a new doctor and have been unable to find one that takes Alabama Medicaid. There is no Medicaid directory of pain management doctors. I already have a doctor that will do my epidurals but I can't find one that will write out my prescriptions. I don't want to abruptly stop the patch. If anyone knows of a doctor in Alabama that takes Medicaid PLEASE send me his/her name. I am on SSI and cannot afford a "self-pay" doctor -each wants between $250 & $490 for a first visit. Thanks!
