Has anyone heard of Diltiazem making fibro worse? It is a calcium channel blocker for heart. I started it 2 weeks ago and my fibro and my TMJ have flared up terribly and seem to be getting worse each day. Also my mood has plummeted. Anyone had similar side effects? When I was on a beta blocker I was sure it had made my TMJ and fibro worse. I'm thinking at this point I'll chance the heart problems -I'll talk to my doctor next week.
