Hello all
I was wondering if any Fibro sufferers would like to share their favorite home pain & stiffness therapies.
Many of you have spent a great deal of time, thinking about and working on home ideas to either reduce pain or just simply ease suffering and learn to better tolerate our pain.
I'm at a stage that I've already got several ideas and options for home therapies, but I cannot seem to think of any new ones, I know for positive that the rest of you surely have more than I have even thought about.
Thank you for your help and all suggestions will be considered and welcomed
Betty

Hello Meeeeeelee
Thanks for your response. I too utilize the bathtub for my treatment process.
I recently added s topic on my own pan page that covers the types of bath saltz that I use daily and soak in.
I use Village Naturals bath saltz
I add a cut of regular epson saltz and 1/2 cup of baking soda to my every bath. I soak daily in my concoction and I have tried other bath salz, but really did not get the positive results that I have received with the Village Naturals ones.
The best part is that all the ingredients are very inexpensive and can be bought from your local grocery or Rite Aid carries some of the village naturals saltz, but I order online so I can get a large quantity as I really love their shower gels, lotions and additional products too. The shower gels and liquid bath treatments stay on your skin for an hour or so afterward and feel like a linament and has really helped to hold the pain off, so I can get dressed.
I too use melotonin once on a while, it seems if I try and use it every night It looses it's effectiveness, Have you found that???

Thank you so much for sharing with me, I'm always open for any thing new to try and maybe others have not tried the hot tub and bath saltz yet.
Thanks
Betty

hot baths rule. And ice packs work for specific areas. And you can buy those arthritis patches (cool/heat) and stick them on your neck and back.

other at home treatments for me would be sleey time teas, to help relax before sleeping (but also a sleeping pill)

Comfortanle bed, or I ache so bad I cannot sleep at all.

Vitamins, the who magnesium thing and others, that I hope do something.
