I was just wondering what everyone's experience has been with pain meds. I have been taking flexeril for a while now (I think ~6 months) and recently the pain was getting worse so I decided to see if it was the meds not working anymore or the pain getting worse. I went off my meds about 2 weeks ago and since then my headaches have actually been less than they were when I was on the meds. Has anyone else every experienced this? Is it possible the meds started causing my headaches?
I can't give you a personal experience with this, but I did look flexeril up in the PDR and one of the common side effects is headaches. That might help explain why your headaches have lessened since you quit taking it.
