I was part of the TMJ Friends for about a year and am now posting on the new site.
My name is Tami and I am 33 years old and live in Northern California. I have had TMJ for 10 years and found out I had it after a boched up crown procedure. I was fitted for a nueromuscular splint last February and it's been my savior. It's been recommended that I get cosmetic reconstructive surgery on all my teeth with NO insurance coverage.. So needless to say, I'm sticking w/ the Orthotic for now as I don't want to let go of 30K for something that is not guaranteed !!!
