Hi all. I'm Amy. 32 years old from Des Moines, Iowa (or blizzard central today)

First, I just can't say how happy I am to find this Web site. I've had a really rough couple of weeks and this has been so helpful and hopeful.

I first injured my jaw in a boating accident when I was a preteen and had my first night guard at 15. I was in a car accident in 2003 and since have had a constant headache, numerous trigger points, dizziness and ear aches. I have seen ENTs, neurologists, chiropractors, physical therapists, holistic doc and massage therapist. Funny thing is I didn't connect my jaw troubles with the headaches, and neither did my doctors. After getting an RF procedure on my neck last month I finally decided my jaw was really what was killing me and found a TMJ specialist. I got fitted for a neuromuscular splint this week and have high hopes for it.

Hiya Amy!
How are you doing girl? I hope the NS is working out for you. Just remember that it may take several times of getting the splint adjusted to get it just right for you. Especially as your jaw changes as you go. Glad to see you made it over okay. Keep us updated as to how you're feeling.
In my Thoughts,

Chrissy
