Hi to you all, I am 39,and have suffered extreme pain for about 6yrs now. I had Ross River Fever, then Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, MPS, Trigamal Neuralgia, and in the last 5 yrs I have slowly gone down hill. I have had thyroid surgery, sinus surgery, histerectomy, shoulder surgery, and now 10weeks ago major brain surgery. All this in the last 2yrs.I still worked until I had a work accident June 2006 and badly damaged my shoulder. Surgery on it was May 2007 and the next day I started having strokes. So far I have had 12. I also had a huge aneurysm, ( not related to the strokes) and had it clipped recently. Im still having the odd stroke ( not TIA's as they leave lasting damage) and my pain levels are more extreme than I thought possible. I have been on the medicaton roundabout for the last 5 yrs and am currently on Fentanyl patches, Endone and other things that are supposed to help. I am generally a very happy chirpy person but it gets you down so much its hard to stay on top. I struggle through each day of pain and hope for a better one tomorrow. I have a great family, not that they always understand or comfort me but they try. Without them I wouldnt be able to cope. They are my rocks.

I am so sorry to read your story. I had facial pain for 12 years and just had the RF procedure. It sounds like you are a very strong person to have gone through all you have gone through. I wish that I could help you! I am hear to talk if you need to.
