Just thought I'd pop on and say hello to you all. I hope everyone is well and pain levels are low.
I have been doing much better now that I am over my horrible cold turned sinus infection. The weather has been very nice here too. We finally got our yard fenced and it looks fantastic! Can't wait to start planting gardens back there.
Today was a poopy day....and I mean that LITERALLY. I woke up to kitty poop streaks all over my carpet upstairs and all over the wood floors downstairs along with piles of runny poop in the basement were the litter boxes are. Oliver was sitting on the kitchen table like "I swear, I did NOT do this!" And there was Toby on the floor, a complete poopy mess. Seems like he has a stomach bug. He's a long haired cat too so you can imagine the mess!! It took FOREVER to clean up. Toby went to the vet and got some medication and our doctor was kind enough to clean him up for us....he had to shave his bum. LOL! Atleast he's clean now.
What a day. I am exhausted!
Hugs,
Bekah

Hi Bekah- wow, nasty visual on the trail through the house. Glad you're feeling better and your kitty is cleaned up- we have to clean our rabbit every once in a while and I swear she likes the warm water sprayed on her- if it hits her paws she waves them up and down and grinds her teeth to show she's happy. What a ham! I came home after still having breathing problems all day and doodled out in the yard with the compost bin and used scotts step one on the yard. Jack talked me into using the inhaler and I think it did help- it's hard not to panic when you feel like you aren't getting enough air. My neighbor sid she saw this streak of orange out front- it was me with the fertilizer spreader- I was sitting all day and needed some exercise!- Glad to see you here- we're missing so many people from the old site- Deb
Bekah - UGH ! What a mess to wake up to. I'm sorry .. But glad your kitty is getting attention... Maybe that's what we need to do (something of the like.. not exactly like) in hospitals or dr offices to show we really have a chronic illness !!!!
I've had a very rough start to the week. I was in bed all yesterday w/ my right side locked up.. I hadn't felt that much pain in a long time. My dh said he hadn't seen me that bad in the 10 years I have been clinically diagnosed w/ TMJ... So it had to be bad. I even called into work, which is something I have NOT done at my current job in the 6 years I've been here.. So my team went 'woah, it had to be bad'.... I took a muscle relaxant last night and feel ok today.. Tho I have some of the relaxants still in my system. Will make for a fun afternoon for me and presenting my quarterly results in front of my management team... Ugh.. Also getting ready to head off to London for all day meetings next week.. So this is just really bad timing.
On a happier front.. My PMDD is under control... That is a huge milestone for me !!!!
Hope all is well.. I echo Deb - where is everyone.. The 'hits' are significantly lower than before (
Hi Tami- glad you're feeling better. i remember taking notes at a meeting after taking a muscle relaxant- wow was I relaxed- the MD's yelling at each other didn't even bother me that day. At least some of us are still connecting- I do miss Angi, Stacy, Nicole, Lisa, Pete, etc. Take care and have a good day. I can relate to never calling out- it took collapsing for me to be out- Deb
Got a funny one for you after surviving the day on Muscle Relaxants....
Got into a heated IM convo w/ my boss about a jerk in the UK that I need to work w/.. Anyways,. my boss went off trying to be too protective so I kinda set him a bit straight.. Later in the day we had an all day meeting together w/ him and the team and he looked right at me and said "Boy, we are in quite the mood eh?".. And started laughing... My personality was WAY off, but in a good way (hmm, makes me wonder if he prefers me doped up !!!)... Anyways.. made for a fun laugh.
Deb and Tam, sorry you two have been having a rough time. Bekah.. what a story - woah!!
I haven't seen Angi or Lisa around in a bit. I know Stacy is here, just busy the past few days with her travels.
I'm still here... just not a lot of time on the computer. Lucy decided to revert back to not letting me sleep through the night for the past few days, so we've been doing a lot of power naps during the day. Makes it hard to get anything else done when I have to go down with her each time, normally that should be "me" time. What the hell is "me" time? I don't know anymore... And yes, my TMJ has been very difficult to deal with lately, I've been struggling there.
The kitty is all better, thank goodness! Haha. Now it's the puppy's turn. We took him to the vet today because he has another ulcer on his eye. Our vet found that he has some ingrown eye lashes which are causing the ulcers so Monty is on drops until Monday to help the eye heal and then we have to go back to discuss surgery to remove the lashes. Luckily our vet said it's a fairly simple procedure and he has a lot of experience with it on Pugs and Shiz Tuz so it will be nice that Monty can go to our vet where he knows everyone instead of the specialist which is an hour away. Poor puppy.
That's all from over here for now!
Hugs,
Bekah
